About Us

Team Wife Homestead is situated within the traditional territory of multiple nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishinabewaki ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᐗᑭ, the Haudenosaunee and the Attiwonderonk. We are settlers on this land that was stolen from Indigenous people. We acknowledge the forced sacrifices that were made in order for us to call this space home and are committed to learning and contributing towards efforts for Truth & Reconciliation. We are grateful for this property and aim to treat the land with care and respect while recognizing its true history.

At Team Wife Homestead we are focussed on providing support locally and abroad to a range of non-profit organizations. We do this through fundraising events and efforts here on the homestead as well as partnering with other small businesses to make a difference. We believe in putting people first and this starts with respecting, valuing and caring for all. Everyone is welcome at Team Wife Homestead.

The People Behind TWH

We are Steph (she/her) and Steph (she/her), the owners and passion behind Team Wife Homestead. We met in 2009 while playing provincial rugby and have been inseparable since. In December 2019 we made a big life change by moving from Guelph to a 2 acre fixer-upper in Lynden, Ontario. While working on the property and house renovations we quickly began acquiring animals and a love for homesteading. Preserving, growing and caring for our animals has been the gift of lifetime. We have learned so much throughout each project and are so happy to continue to grow and build on this lifestyle. Team Wife Homestead is the result of many passions and a love for the place we call home. Thanks for following along!
